We found the beauty chair today. There were so many to choose from... red ones, orange, maroon, black, roomy, molded and super expensive. We were a bit overwhelmed! I do think we settled on a chair fit for a bride. Now this room is finished.

Finally we had some dry days where we could drive a tractor trailer onto the field. Well there was not one thing easy about this at all! The brakes has locked up, the jack had sunk down in the soft ground under the weight of a full load of wheat straw and rain was expected the next day. Luckily Roger is a small guy where he could fit under those back tires. We go unstuck from one spot only to get stuck in another! I wished for my wrecker man brother in law. This was just up his alley! I prayed for safety while they were working. Thank goodness this has been accomplished! Now on to the next task.
Well we finished and I mean Roger finished the outdoor log planters that will be the entrance to the ceremony site! Today we will be adding the wood preserver so they don't deteriorate so fast. Roger said it is too much work to need to do over! The original photo of the planted log is from a pinterest pinner... indulgy.com Thanks for the inspiration! It is going to be spectacular! Now on to another project...
The old barn wood I was able to salvage from the chicken houses is a perfect table top. I found this metal table base at a resale shop. Lots of broken dishes in many colors from some of my other mosaic projects. Several hours later with much glue to hold the pieces together. Dry over night and then onto grout. I love it! So will everyone else. With all the old wood trim and tin ceiling, this grooms area is hard to beat!
